Trudy and I were just in Rome with three of our grandchildren – Kendall, Stella and Chloe (and Clarissa, Stella and Chloe‘s Mom).
I’d read about Crazy Pizza which was two minutes away from our Hotel off the via Veneto. It’s owned by Formula One entrepreneur Flavio Briatore and chef Francesco Costa.
It truly is crazy. Great, crispy, crunchy, thin Roman pizzas with excellent Italian starters in a fun-filled, stylish, upscale environment. And incredible dessert pizzas made at the table with that adorable Italian Lovemark – Nutella.
What makes it crazy? The chef running around the restaurant every hour tossing a giant pizza as the diners jump to their feet (led by Trudy), waving their napkins in the air and singing along with the waiters. Fireworks / sparklers are also handed out. Total madness. Not the place for a romantic tête-à-tête, but one hell of a place to go in a group of four to eight people.
Open now in London, Milan, Monte Carlo, Doha, Kuwait, Riyadh, Catania and Bahrain.
It’s just total fun (https://crazypizza.com/).
It’s pretty popular at the moment, so you’ll need to book – but if you’re in a crazy mood …
