“The old men,
lost in their overcoats,
waiting for the sun.
Sharing a park-bench quietly.
How terribly strange
to be Seventy.”
My sister Trisha sent me a link to Art Garfunkel’s new album – at age 83, singing with his son Art Jr, aged 33. Father and Son. Reminding me of The Sounds of Silence and Homeward Bound.
The Garfunkel’s version of Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Time After Time’ reminded me just how important it was to think about the value of the times Trisha and I spend together. Time is the most precious of all. Make Happy Choices.
Good on y’a Art.
