The All Blacks won the Webb Ellis Cup in the inaugural tournament in New Zealand in 1987, and have been beaten in every tournament since. As Vince Lombardi said ‘Winning is a habit, unfortunately so is losing.’
I can’t wait to get that World Cup winning feeling back – but I know passionate rugby fans the world over will be feeling the same way about their own teams. What could be better than winning a world cup in New Zealand, home of the mystical men in black? Stephen Jones would have a field day.
